February 4, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Substance use among youth can cause or increase mental health related issues, lead to problems at school and home, and put them at risk for involvement with the Juvenile Justice System. Substance Use Disorder impacts the entire family. This workshop will explore the risk factors, signs/symptoms and prevention/intervention associated with Substance Use Disorder. Information on how to communicate with children about Substance Use Disorder will be discussed to prepare parents/caregivers for these important conversations with youth.
