We strive to respond to calls by meeting with people in their homes or in the community, as much as possible. Staff will also meet with clients in the emergency room when needed.

Crisis Services are available to anyone, at any time

People will use crisis services for a number of reasons such as thoughts of suicide, injuring themselves or others, experiencing feelings of depression, hopelessness, grief, lack of control, or substance use issues and concerns.

All of our services are billed through your insurance and both private insurance and MaineCare are accepted

Midnight Team Program

Crisis & Counseling Centers collaborates with local Police Departments to provide the Midnight Team program. This program pairs C&C’s behavioral health professionals with a patrolling police officer during evening hours.

As part of C&C’s Crisis Mobile Triage program, the Midnight Team can provide immediate, face-to-face treatment to people in crisis. When possible, that rapid response happens at a person’s residence to avoid the high costs of emergency rooms.

This program helps law enforcement understand alternative ways to interact with this people suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues & provide care that may not be given if individuals were simply arrested.
